The Paint Creek Trail is a nature trail frequented by bikers, pedestrians, and equestrians in southeast Michigan. They place an ample amount of emphasis on their history, so when updating their brand it was important to continuously emphasize timelessness and create a clean design that would feel as at home in 2020 as it would during the Trail's founding in 1983. Below is a standard's manual that I created to succinctly encapsulate the Paint Creek Trail's new identity system and methods for its usage.
